02How we operate — online orders only

Catsaka Technologies operates primarily as an online supply and delivery business. We do not accept unannounced store walk-ins or over-the-counter purchases at our premises.

All website orders are processed online and delivered to the customer's nominated address. For quotations, bulk orders, product enquiries or business-to-business requirements, please contact our sales team.

03Products and descriptions

Product descriptions, images and specifications on this website are provided for information purposes and are based on supplier information. Colours and finishes may vary slightly from images displayed on screen.

Because we source products from our supplier network rather than holding stock, availability of a particular product or configuration may change. We will confirm availability with you when your order is processed.

04Pricing and VAT

Prices displayed on this website are shown in South African Rand and are VAT-inclusive unless clearly stated otherwise for a specific product.

VAT is charged at the applicable statutory rate (currently 15%). Delivery fees are confirmed at checkout or with your quote.

We aim for pricing accuracy; where an obvious pricing or description error occurs, we will inform you promptly, and you may confirm or cancel the affected order.

05Payment processing

Online payments are processed through PayFast (payfast.io). Catsaka Technologies never sees or stores your full card number, CVV or card authentication details — card details are handled by PayFast.

By selecting PayFast at checkout, you acknowledge that the payment transaction may be subject to PayFast's applicable terms, security procedures and payment-processing requirements.

An order is only considered successfully paid once Catsaka Technologies receives and verifies the relevant payment confirmation. Returning from the payment page does not, by itself, constitute confirmation that payment was successfully completed.

Your order's payment status is recorded with your order, and a payment reference is retained for reconciliation purposes. Catsaka Technologies reserves the right to place an order on hold where payment verification is incomplete, unsuccessful, reversed or disputed.

06Order acceptance

Placing an order on this website constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is accepted once your payment has been confirmed and we have confirmed that the products can be sourced for you.

We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund of any payment made) where a product is unavailable, cannot be sourced, or where an obvious pricing or description error occurred. Where this happens, we will contact you promptly.

07Stock availability and sourcing

We do not hold stock on our premises. Products are ordered from our supplier network once your order is confirmed, which is described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Locally sourced products are typically delivered within 3 to 5 working days of confirmation; imported products can take up to 15 days. These timeframes are estimates, not guarantees, and we will keep you informed of any delays.

08Delivery

Delivery terms, timeframes, free-delivery thresholds and bulky-item arrangements are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Tracking details are provided once your order has been handed to the courier.

09Cancellations and changes

If you need to cancel or change an order, contact us as soon as possible. Because products are sourced on order, we may not be able to cancel or change an order once it has been processed and dispatched.

Your statutory cancellation rights under South African consumer-protection law are not limited by this section.

10Returns and refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms. We do not operate a blanket 'no refunds' policy.

11Warranties

Where a manufacturer or supplier warranty applies to a product, that warranty is passed on to you where possible, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms.

Warranty terms do not limit or reduce your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or other applicable law.

12Intellectual property

The content, design and layout of this website are owned by Catsaka Technologies. Product names, brand names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

13Use of this website

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it, including attempting to breach its security, interfere with its operation, or use it to transmit unlawful or harmful content.

14Customer accounts

Where you create a customer account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.

15Privacy and POPIA

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and our POPIA notice, which form part of these terms. By using this website you consent to that processing as described in those documents.

16Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect this website and your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

17Electronic transactions

In accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002, before submitting your order you can review it, correct errors, change quantities, remove products, verify your delivery information and see the final total payable.

A record of your transaction is retained and is available to you on reasonable request.

18Consumer rights

These terms do not exclude, restrict or waive any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or other applicable South African law. If any term is found to be unlawful, the remaining terms continue to apply.

19Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by South African law. If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

20Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date above, and applies to orders placed after publication.
